Shows how the web part of a web hosting package of the manitu customer account this connection works in is laid out, by its site_id from manitu_webhosting_list: the layout (legacy or current - never assume one), the user PHP runs as and the package's group, its folders with path.absolute and path.api (as target_dir of a website and manitu_webhosting_web_permission_set take it), owner and mode, and where a website's folder belongs (website_folder_template). Call it before you name a path to the customer or pick a folder for a website; how owners, group and modes work says manitu_webhosting_web_guide_get. It changes nothing.

site_idinteger | stringrequired

The site_id from manitu_webhosting_list - never guess one.

pattern ^[1-9][0-9]*$min 1
site_idintegerrequired
layoutstringrequired

Which of two layouts: current - every new package, and those moved in the platform migration at the end of 2025, htdocs is web/htdocs; legacy - the older one, htdocs is web. Never assume one: paths differ.

One of legacy current
accountobjectrequired

The package's Unix account - both named site<id> today, but two roles.

account.web_userstringrequired

The user the web server and PHP run as - not an FTP or SSH user.

account.groupstringrequired

The package's group - the web server, PHP and every FTP and SSH user of the package are in it. Files are meant to be read- and writable for it, never for others.

folder_listarray of objectrequired
folder_list[].namestringrequired
folder_list[].purposestring | nullrequired
folder_list[].pathobjectrequired
folder_list[].path.absolutestringrequired

Absolute, ending in "/" - as an SSH user of the package sees it. An FTP user sees the part below its own start folder.

folder_list[].path.apistring | nullrequired

Relative to the web root, ending in "/" - as the API takes folders (target_dir of a website, directory of manitu_webhosting_web_permission_set); null above the web root.

folder_list[].owner_userstringrequired
folder_list[].owner_groupstringrequired
folder_list[].modestringrequired

Octal, as the folder is set up.

website_folder_templateobjectrequired

Where a website's folder belongs - {fqdn} is its full name, e.g. www.example.com.

website_folder_template.absolutestringrequired
website_folder_template.apistringrequired

As target_dir of manitu_webhosting_web_vhost_create takes it.

Not offered over REST - only to agents over MCP.
